A Fine Day in Lunenburg

This is a painting of a memory from the East coast in one of the quaint fishing villages in Nova Scotia – Lunenburg. I have used very bright colours to depict the landscape. But I have also added an overlay of markings to give the piece a more contemporary feel and contrast it to the traditional Canadian landscape.
