Ivan

This was a painting that I created because my brother was reading Tolstoy's The Death of Ivan Ilyich and was telling me about the main character. The novel ends with the main character becoming very wise, but there is a certain amount of sadness in him. To me the main part of the painting was his eyes. I also added the block structure on the bottom to convey the idea that we live our life in segments.
