Yo El Rey

This painting is paying homage to one of the world's greatest painters: Pablo Picasso. I have enjoyed studying Picasso’s life and work extensively. What I really enjoy about his paintings are his vivid colours and how he interprets his subjects. I entitled the painting, “Yo El Rey,” and prominently placed it on the canvas, because at one point in time he actually signed his paintings with it - meaning I am the king.
